In Loving Memory: Bernice Capjack. – Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel

The Town of Elk Point is saddened to learn of the passing of Bernice Capjack. Bernice was an outstanding community member. Known for loving her community, her volunteer efforts were instrumental in cementing Elk Point as the Right Place to Be.

Bernice served as a town council member for many terms. Where her contributions were endless. 

She was generous with her time, wisdom and knowledge. As a school teacher, Bernice taught for most of her career at Elk Point Elementary School. Long past retirement, Bernice was known to pick up as many substitute classes as she could. 

Join us in celebrating Bernice Capjack’s life. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre (Pioneer Circle), Elk Point with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Lunch to follow. A private family inurnment will take place at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Northern Valley. Cremation has taken place.
