Water Line Break at the Intersection of 49 Ave and Highway 41A

PLEASE NOTE: The public works department is dealing with a water line break at the intersection of 49 Ave and Highway 41 which is on the corner by the Coop liquor store.

No one is without water at this time but there will be lower water pressure in the area because of closing down valves to minimize water loss. Residents and businesses in the area have been notified. (a map is attached of area affected)

The low pressure will most likely continue for the weekend. Public Works is waiting for other utility lines to be located before excavation can commence. We are anticipating the excavation to begin on Monday morning. Water leakage is not a hazard to anyone at this time.

It will be monitored by on call staff for the weekend.
